dr genesee giedt

Dr. Genesee Giedt was born and raised in California, but moved across the country to go to college at North Carolina State University. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Zoology, and then found herself moving to the Caribbean to attend veterinary school. After three years in Grenada at St. George's University and completing her clinical training at The Ohio State University, she finally achieved her dream of becoming a Veterinarian. Her realization about her future career came at 12 years old when she watched a cancelled sitcom about a vet and his monkey sidekick, and ever since then, she worked with animals however she could. Dr. Giedt has always been passionate small animal general practice, and her main areas of interest are surgery and preventative care. The light of her life is her cat Daphne, who has been with her through most of college and the entirety of veterinary school. Dr. Giedt looks forward to this next adventure and treating every pet she can at Valley Ranch Animal Hospital.

Valley Ranch has treated myself and my dogs with such compassion. I have taken our dogs in for emergency visits and they are always willing to see me immediately. The staff and doctors are so informative and friendly. I feel blessed we have found such a wonderful place to take our dogs.
